You know those
perfectworkout and get-pumped playlists? The ones with those songs that never fail to up the pace on your morning run, help power through those last few reps at the gym, and that one song that your pickup basketball team always plays before a game. While a good song can get your adrenaline pumping – get you amped and ready to take on just about anything, in a matter of minutes – a lame tune can seriously dampen any mood.
We got to thinking – who probably has a
ton of songs on the ready to pump them up and get them ready to perform at their peak? Answer: athletes. Think about it. From hours at home and in the gym conditioning, to getting amped in the locker room waiting for the game to start, their playlists have to be awe-some.
After that mini-epiphany, we took a note (pun
